Frequently asked questions.
The questions we get most often, answered. Cannot find yours? Email contact@leanglass.com.
Engagement model
From a 1-week audit through to multi-month transformation programmes. Most plants start with a hot-end audit (5 days on-site, 2 weeks of analysis) and decide their next step from there.
Yes. Every engagement runs under NDA. We also disclose any prior commercial relationship with vendors or OEMs in writing before quoting.
Both. Audits are on-site; ongoing support is hybrid. Worldwide coverage.
English natively. Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Turkish via team and partner network. Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa via partners.
Engagement scope, not staff days. We disclose all assumptions in the proposal.
Vendor-neutrality
No. Lean Glass has no equipment to sell, no OEM partnerships, no commissions, no referral fees. The audit is the product.
Because OEM-tied consultancies tend to find problems adjacent to what they sell. Vendor-neutral findings are ranked by EBITDA impact, not by what's monetisable downstream.
Yes — we make vendor-neutral recommendations naming the right OEM for the spec, with no incentive to over- or under-prescribe.
Job Change Tool
Three components: SKU Library (best-known state per SKU), Live Execution (role-aware tablet-driven changeover), KPI Tracking (live target-vs-actual on changeover time, first-ware quality, percent-pack).
No. It's a job-change-specific layer that integrates with existing systems.
Both. Standalone licensing is available once SKU standards are mature; bundled with Job Change Lifecycle for plants installing the discipline alongside.
Yes. Tablets work offline and sync when connectivity returns.
Audits
Hot end audit covers gob to lehr. Forming audit is a deeper IS-machine-specific dive — section timing, mechanism wear, mould cooling. Many plants need both.
Management audit covers Leader Standard Work, span of control, decision rights. Meeting audit covers daily/shift/weekly meeting agendas, KPI boards, action closure rates.
Most plants see measurable defect-rate and changeover-time improvements within 30 days of action. Full system maturity by month 9–12.
